HISTORY
In 1936 Payless Foods began on Colby avenue in Everett, Washington. For more than 70 years Payless Foods has been locally owned and operated.
The business moved from Everett to Oak Harbor and currently operates on South Whidbey Island.
While there have been several buildings in which Payless has operated in, and many re-models, — the principles and commitments have not changed.
Payless was founded with several core beliefs.
The belief that:
- THE CUSTOMER IS YOUR GUEST and they DESERVE THE BEST PRODUCT THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR THEM.
- ALL EMPLOYEES DESERVE THE RESPECT OF ALL TEAM MEMBERS
- A DETERMINATION TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY WHERE THE STORE SERVES AND THE EMPLOYEES LIVE.
- TO CONTINUALLY RE-INVEST IN THE BUSINESS TO MAKE THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE THE BEST IT CAN BE.
